Which did you find more appealing, the introduction or the conclusion? Oh, this is a hard one. The ending even if it was a little sad.

Thanks for the lovely review. So glad you enoyed the book. In response to your question, on a vacation trip up north, we stopped to visit friends who live on the Eastern shore of Virginia and it struck me as such a desolate place - long stretches of road with nothing on either side - and I made the comment that a murder could take place out here and no one would ever know it. Once that thought was planted in my mind, it quickly grew into a story.
